The village of Watergrasshill has the best of both worlds, on the one hand its close proximity to Cork city centre and on the other, its direct access to country life and beautiful rural landscapes in all directions, featuring rolling hills and spectacular woodlands.
Watergrasshill is strategically located to the north of Glanmire on the main Cork-Dublin road, before the toll-booth for the M8 motorway, with an impressive road network linking you directly to the Jack Lynch Tunnel, you’re only minutes away from the city centre, the southern suburbs, the airport and the ferry port.
Glen Corrin, as the name suggests is on an elevated site on the edge of the village, providing a clear view of Corrin Hill, its landmark cross and its wooded slopes gently rolling down towards the valley and the river Blackwater.

Watergrasshill is proud of its community values and the warm welcome for new residents who quickly adapt to the pleasant pace of village life. Watergrasshill has an excellent National School, a very active community, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and sports facilities all centered around the heart of the village.
The local GAA Club is extremely active, bringing together both new and long standing supporters cheering on a new generation of passionate sportsmen and women.
